Born in Barcelona, Spain, Encarnación is flamenco to the core. A one of a kind performer who entrances audiences everywere with her dance, also plays flamenco guitar and sings with the group. She has studied with masterful teachers such as Soraya Claviho, Mario Maya, La Tati, Cristobal Reyes and Sara de Luis. She has performed in la Feria de Sevilla and in la Pena Flamenca de Hospitalet, a gathering place in Barcelona dedicated to the art of Flamenco. In Mexico(where she pent half her life), she studied with Ricardo Montoya and Manolo Vargas, her most influential teachers. She has performed in tablaos and theaters all across Mexico.


Encarna uses Tortnavoz Guitars ans Shubb Capos. Encarnación currently lives and teaches in the Seattle area and performs with Children of the Revolution.
